The suspension of five freshmen in the University of Vermont for hazing a sophomore has resulted in a general strike by the freshman class. It appears that a sophomore was seized and beaten by five young fellows wearing masks, but the freshman class vote their approval of the performance and are cutting all recitations. It is hoped that the sophomore will give his assailants a taste of the law when they return.
