The nine played its second game of the season with the J. L. Whiting nine of the Commercial League. The batting was very weak throughout. Crocker was disabled in the second inning, and Fuller took his place. The principal features of the game were the fine playing of LeMoyne in left field, and that of Smith at first base. Beaman also played a good game at third base. Following is the score:
