Last evening the first of the long expected recitals drew a large audience, that more than filled Bolyston 1. About ten minutes before the appointed time all the seats were taken. Among the audience were Professors Greenough and Fallows and Dr. Phillips. The entertainment commenced promptly at 7.30. The professor announced that it would be informal, as he had not had time to prepare for it. The following is the programme:
