Who wrote the letters of Junius? 5. Should the Irish have Home Government? 6. Should books and works of art be admitted free of duty? 7. Should the State support Higher Education? 8. Are there any dangerous classes in America? 9. Should there be proctors at college examinations? 10. Should there be a fence around Jarvis? 11. Do the college authorities sufficiently encourage athletics? 12. Should match games with professional players be allowed?
The first draft of the theme will consist of a scheme containing only the heads of the argument. This will be criticised by the instructor and returned to the student to be written out. The completed production will be subjected to no further criticism, but will be marked on its merits largely with regard to its value as a piece of argumentative composition.
