The trustees of Andover Theological Seminary, Monday, elected Rev. George Harris of Providence, R. I., Abbot Professor of Systematic Divinity; Rev. E. Y. Hincks, recently of Portland, Me., Smith Professor of Theology, to be assigned to the department of Biblical Theology, and Rev. J. P. Taylor of New London, Ct., Taylor Professor of Biblical History and Theology and instructor in the Oriental languages. These gentlemen are all graduates of Andover in the classes of '69, '70 and '68, respectively. Mr. Harris is a graduate of Amherst College, and Mr. Taylor and Mr. Hincks are graduates of Yale.
