The first vesper service of the season will be held this afternoon. To those who were connected with the University last year this notice will give much pleasure. To those who were not a few words about them will not be out of place:
The vesper services will be given every Thursday afternoon until about Easter week. The services will begin at five o'clock and last until a little after half-past five. The service consists largely of song, though the resident college preacher will usually make a short address. As at the Sunday service the south door will be open for members of the University.
This afternoon the choirs of Applet on Chapel and St. Paul's Church will unite in singing Harvest music.
