A number of the 'varsity crew men were absent from yesterday's practice because of examinations. The remaining men, however, rowed for about three quarters of an hour on the machines.
The freshman crew candidates were unable to obtain any practice on the machines. Their work consisted of a run to Porter's Station and back. Thomson was unable to be present so Mills led the men.
