For the past few days the Yale crew has been rowing on the river in barges. Two crews have been made up as follows:

First crew. - bow, Rogers '93, 150 pounds; 2, Balliet '92, 166; 8, Van Huyck '93 S., 169; 4, Shepley '93, 164; 5, Graves '92 S., 174; 6, Gallaudet '93, 171; 7, Ives '93, 177; and stroke, Chatfield '93, 168.

Second crew. - bow, Perkins '94, 167; 2,. Howland '94, 171; 3, Kinney '95, 175; 4, Pond '94 S., 167; 5, Messler '94 S., 174; 6, Paine '94, 190; 7, Rogers '94 S., 160; and stroke, Folger '94 S., 165.

Comparing the first crew with the winning crews of 1889 and 1890 it will be found that the average age of this year's crew is 21.8 years against 21 years for the crew of 1890 and 22.3 years for 1889; while the average weight of this year's crew is 167.4 pounds, as against 172.1 for 1890, and 168.1 in 1889.
