Williams began her centennial celebration on Sunday. The day was chiefly devoted to religious services and addresses were delivered on the following subjects: "The Connection Between Religion and Education," "The Relation of the Modern College to Applied Christianity," and "The Office of a Christian College."

The educational conference was the centre of interest yesterday morning. The speakers emphasized the collegiate course as opposed to the university idea.

It is estimated that over 1000 visitors have already arrived, including alumni and many prominent educators.

Cornell has just completed her first twenty-five years of existence and this she celebrated in a fitting manner on Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Depew, the
