About twenty candidates for the Senior eleven met for practice on Norton's field yesterday afternoon. Cabot is temporary captain in the absence of Russell Beals. McDonald, Gardner, Borden, Brooks and Lee of last year's team were on the field.

The freshman candidates were coached by Sherwin '94 and Wadsworth '95. The men were put through the ordinary rounds of passing and falling on the ball. Two elevens were picked out for a ten minute practice game. About sixty men were dressed for play and some very promising material was present. H. T. Nichols is manager of the team.
