Yesterday Yale began its 194th year under the most favorable circumstances. Over 2000 students are enrolled, while last year there were about 1950; there is also a marked increase in attendance in the law, medical and theological schools.
There are three new dormitories, Vanderbilt, Berkely and White Halls, representing in all bequests of nearly $1,000,000. It is also intended to fit up rooms in White Hall especially for the headquarters of the college periodicals.
Many important changes have also been made in the faculty which now numbers almost 200.
