The freshman crew will go on the river Monday if the weather is favorable. The men will not row for the rest of this week, but will take long walks instead. The number of men was reduced to thirteen yesterday. Probably twelve will be kept through the spring. The crew will probably not go to the training table until the spring vacation.
J. H. Kidder, captain of the '92 freshman crew, which was coached by Mr. Watson, and which was the last Harvard freshman crew to win from Yale, has been secured to coach the '98 crew. Mr. Kidder, having been under Mr. Watson's coaching is thoroughly in sympathy with his views.
