The Duty of Total Abstinence.
Mr. Wm. Lloyd Garrison will give an address tonight on the "Duty of Total Abstinence, and the Popular Fallacies Concerning Light Drinks" in Sever 11, at 7.30 o'clock. An able and earnest address is anticipated. Dean Briggs will preside. All students are cordially invited to be present.
At the close of the address there will be an important business meeting for election of officers for the ensuing year, and other matters of great importance to the league.
The platform of the league is abstinence from intoxicating liquors as a beverage during the college course. All who wish are invited to join the league at the close of the address.
