Republican Club Meeting.

Last evening, in Sever 11, the Republican Club held a meeting and election of officers. After waiting some time for the speakers who were at the sound money meeting, L. L. Gillespie '98 called the meeting to order.

A committee consisting of Messrs. Youngman, Holden and Child was appointed to make up a slate of officers. The committee presented the following slate, which was accepted by acclamation:

President-R. C. Davis '97.

Treasurer-K. De Laittre '98.

Secretary-L. L. Gillespie '98.

Vice-presidents-From '97: G. H. Choate, E. N. Wrightington, James Dean, H. T. Nichols and Arnold Scott; from '98: D. M. Goodrich, F. L. Ames, P. S. Dalton, E. F. Burgess and S. W. Wheeler; from '99: G. Holden, P. Jaffray, M. Whitman, W. Adams, P. Jewell and D. Parker.

Blue books for new members will be placed at Leavitt's, and all REpublicans are urged to join.
