The Boylston Chemical club met in the upper lecture room of the chemical laboratory last evening and listened to a lecture by Professor Hill on "Furfuran Derivatives." Professor Hill has spent the greater part of his time during the past thirteen years studying these carbon compounds and has succeeded in throwing much light on the subject. His talk was instructive and although highly scientific, was full of interest.
