Department of French and Cercle Francais.Four lectures, in English, will be given under the auspices of the Department of French and the Cercle Francais, in the lecture room of the Fogg Museum. These lectures will be open to the public. The names of the lecturers, the subjects, and the dates, are as follows:

Feb. 26.- Professor Davis: Three French Rivers-The Seine, the Meuse, and the Moselle. (Illustrated).

Mar. 4.- Professor Baker: Moliere in the English Drama.

Mar. 11.- Professor Lyon: The Work of the French Assyriologists. (Illustrated).

Mar. 18.- Professor Royce: Jean-Marie Guyau, the Philosopher.

The Fine Arts of the Middle Ages and of the Renaissance.Professor Moore will give six evening exhibitions of lantern slides illustrating the Fine Arts of the Middle Ages. These exhibitions will be given on successive Monday evenings, at eight o'clock, beginning February 24, in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum, and will be open to the public.

They will be followed later by others illustrating the Fine Arts of the Renaissance.

Lectures on Bimetallism.Francis A. Walker, Ph. D., LL. D., will deliver a course of lectures on Tuesday and Friday evenings, at a quarter before eight, beginning February 11, in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum. Subject: Bimetallism since the Discovery of America. Open to the public.

Lectures on Literature.During the year 1895-96, Mr. Copeland will give a number of lectures on English literature, of which the subjects and the dates will be announced in the University Calendar. The chief object of these lectures is to stimulate interest in literature, and particularly to encourage critical discussion of such matters of literary consequence as may from time to time arise. A secondary object is to suggest lines of reading to such members of the University as desire some knowledge of English Literature without the minute study demanded by the regular courses of instruction.

The subjects and dates already announced are as follows:

These lectures will be given in the Fogg Art Museum at 3.30 o'clock on each of the days named, and will be open to the public.
