Letter from Nineteen Hundred.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The following letter has been sent to the family of E. C. Warren, ex 1900, by a committee for the class:

"CAMBRIDGE, Jan. 9, 1897.Dear Mr. and Mrs. Warren:

We the class of Nineteen Hundred of Harvard University extend to you our deepest sympathy in the loss of your son, Edwin Clifton Warren.

Although he was with us but a short time, he showed himself to be persevering, conscientious and faithful. He was an excellent student and a true friend. His death is our first bereavement and by it we lose one of our most promising members.

For the class,

WINGATE CRAM, F. L. HIGGINSON, JR., W. B. FLANDRAU, WILLIAM BURDEN."
