To the Editors of the Crimson:

We wish to express our approval of the suggestion in yesterday's CRIMSON in regard to the wearing of the cap and gown by Seniors after the April recess.

The distinction between the Senior and the under-classman would prove a stimulus beneficial not only to Seniors but to under-classmen as well.

The Senior year ought, perhaps, to be anticipated and felt more as such than at present. By wearing the cap and gown we should hope to create a healthy expectation of the last year and to make the closing months of their college course a happy memory of the class of '97.

Would not the wearing of the cap and gown from the April recess make a fit preparation for two days' special enjoyment at "Class Day?"

SEVERAL SENIORS.
