From 1869 to 1883, Yale won 23 out of 37 games. In 1883 the class of '86 played three games, winning the home game losing at New Haven, and losing the deciding game at Springfield. '88 tied the game at Cambridge, and lost at New Haven. The '89 team won both of its games, and the Yale '90 nine twice defeated Harvard. With those exceptions since 1883, each class has lost at New Haven and won at Cambridge. To sum up since 1883, Yale has won 10 games and Harvard 10, one being a draw. Harvard has won 2 games at New Haven, while Yale has won one and tied one at Cambridge. '91 and '92 both won at Cambridge and lost at New Haven. This year the Harvard freshmen have won both games. In all since 1869, the Yale freshmen have won 36 games, and the Harvard freshmen 24.
