Crew Notes.

The 'varsity crew rowed on the river yesterday in the following order:

Stroke, R. H. Stevenson; 7, K. H. Lewis; 6, Sprague; 5, Duffield; 4, T. G. Stevenson; 3, Townsend; 2, Bullard; bow, Forbes,

Freshman Crew. Candidates for the freshman crew began work yesterday. Captain Fennessy divided the men into squads of ten each. These divisions took short runs and went through exercises on the chest weights. As soon as the new rowing machines are put into the rowing room, practice on them will commence.
