The Harvard Union deserves more attention than it gets. It is, as we have said time and again, one of the few really beneficial societies which the undergraduates have organized. It deals with a part of the education of a student which is developed at Harvard only to a slight extent, but which in neighboring colleges is made much of. Unfortunately until this year the Union was not prosperous; it was not popular; but lately a little energetic management has drawn better audiences and brought out more skillful debates. It is decidedly in the interest of the college for as many as possible to attend the meetings of the Union, and thus make it a popular debating society.
