FALL TRACK TRAINING.

It has been decided to hold two sets of track games this fall; Freshman scratch games during the last week of October, and the usual fall handicap games open to all students of the University, during the first week of November. Between 70 and 80 men began training for these meets last Monday and more are joining the squad daily.

As these fall track games are held primarily for the purpose of developing new material, everyone, whether or not he has ever taken part in athletics before is urged to report at once to Mr. Graham and to enter his name for some of the events in the fall meets.

Following is the list of events for the Freshman and handicap games:

100 yards dash, 220 yards dash, 440 yards run, 880 yards run, 1 mile run, 2 mile run, 120 yards hurdles, 220 yards hurdles, high jump, throwing 16 pound hammer, putting 16 pound shot, broad jump, pole vault.

Soon after these games a regular series of hare and hound and cross country runs will be held, for which first and second prizes will probably be offered.
