Ives and Derby Win Doubles.

H. R. Ives 2L. and S. H. Derby 2L. won the finals of the doubles tennis tournament on Saturday afternoon by defeating D. L. Robinson 3L. and S. G. Morley 3G., 6-2, 1-6, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. The match as a whole was loosely played and without special features. Ives and Derby had good team work and at times played a hard consistent game, marred only by poor handling of lobs. Robinson and Morley, on the other hand, relied on individual playing.

In the second match of the semi-finals Ives and Derby defeated Cutter '03 and Fischel '02, 6-1, 6-4. The first set was easily won by swift playing. The second, however, was well contested throughout.
