Pi Eta Play.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first public performance of the Pi Eta play was given very successfully last night. The music was catchy where catchy music was needed and soft and harmonious where such music was appropriate. The singing of the choruses was decidedly good, but their acting showed a lack of training. Especially attractive were the songs: "Private Brown," sung by J. M. Ross '01, and "It's Very Very Funny but it's So," sung by T. Stensland 2L., and the cake walk dancing of W. H. Taylor '01.

The moonlight scene which opens the second act is decidedly well executed, and the costumes of the leading characters were elaborate and appropriately pretty. In spite of delays and abrupt transitions the play as a whole is well up to the average of undergraduate theatricals.
