The petition bearing the signatures of 400 undergraduates, asking that preference be shown to upper-classmen in the assignment of rooms on the Yard for 1902-03, was presented to the Corporation at the meeting on Monday. It was referred to the following committee: Dean Briggs, chairman; Professor Lowell, Mr. C. F. Mason, Assistant Professor Love, Assistant Professor Coolidge, Assistant Professor Hurlbut and Mr. Cobb. This committee will not have the power to grant the petition, but will look into the matter and report later.
No action was taken on the petition asking that the Library be kept open on Sunday evenings.
