At a recent meeting of the Memorial Society the wording of the bronze tablet to be placed on the outside of Hollis Hall between the doorways was decided upon, and will read as follows: "Hollis Hall, Built by the Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England, in 1763.--Named in honor of Thomas Hollis of London, Merchant, and other members of the same family, constant and generous benefactors of Harvard College from 1719 to 1804.--Used as Barracks by Colonial Troops in 1775-76." The seal of the Memorial Society will be placed beneath the inscription.

The Society contemplates designating in some way the rooms once occupied by the fifteen most distinguished graduates of Harvard.
