HANDICAP GAMES TODAY.

Postponed from Friday--Wells Cups for Quarter Mile.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University handicap track games which were to have been held on Friday but were postponed on account of the weather will be held on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The meet should prove interesting as the great number of handicaps which have been given will tend to draw the scratch men on to do their best work. The special event will be the 440 yards run for the Wells cup, which will be held by the winner for one year. Mr. Wells has also given three additional cups which will remain in the permanent possession of the first three men.
