Brief papers will be read and informally discussed. Professor Shaler will tell of his experiences last summer in Montana and Professor Davis will speak on his Western geological excursion. Professor Smythe, who has just returned from Alaska, where he has been absent since June, will tell of his expeditions in that region. Dr. Jaggar will give a short talk on his trip to Martinique and Mr. White will report on the prospecting class which went to Colorado.
