At the meeting held yesterday in the interests of fencing, about sixty men handed in their names. Work will begin next Monday in the fencing room in the basement of the Gymnasium, and will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 3 until 6 o'clock. M. Piancelli will coach the men who receive the appointments made by the captain of the team. A novice class will be formed, meeting two days in the week, and will be coached by H. W. Holmos 1G., H. J. Elam 3L., R. Merrill '06, and other experienced fencers.
A list of the appointments, at which the men are to meet the instructors, will be printed in the CRIMSON on Saturday and Monday.
