Angarika H. Dharmapala, of Ceylon, will speak in the Living Room of the Union tonight at 7.45 o'clock about "Personal Experiences of a Buddhist Monk in India." The Dharmapala saw the poverty in India many years ago and became a monk in his endeavor to alleviate the suffering of the people. Ten years ago he came to this country as a delegate to a religious convention and since that time has devoted himself largely to a comparative study of life in India and America. He is one of the best known of Asiatic scholars who have come to this country in recent years, and has the support of many men of prominence in the religious project to which he is devoting his life.
