The game between the Sophomore and Freshman football teams on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon resulted in a tie score of 0 to 0. A driving rain which fell throughout the game, combined with the darkness and the interference by the spectators in the second half, made the contest very unsatisfactory. With two exceptions, the Freshman team was composed of substitutes.

All attempts at scoring were prevented by fumbles, of which there were a great number in each half. The nearest either side came to a goal line was when the Sophomores forced their way to the Freshman team's 15-yard line. The game ended with the ball in the Sophomore's possession on the Freshmen's 40-yard line.

By an agreement between the captains, the tie will be played off at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field.
