Baseball Practice Yesterday.

The practice of the University and Freshman baseball candidates yesterday consisted of the usual fielding, batting and battery work in the cage. The battery candidates were coached in both straight and curved balls. All of the other candidates were given practice in handling grounders and all except the Freshmen also practiced batting. Those who coached the University candidates were: B. Wendell '02, Keeler, and Chesbro. N. Bartlett '03 and J. L. Lovering '03 coached the Freshman squad.
