The candidates for the cricket team have been divided into two squads, one of which will hereafter meet regularly on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 11 o'clock, and the other on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons at 2 o'clock. The first squad, consisting of about twenty men, reported at the Gymnasium yesterday morning and was given two hours practice in batting and bowling. The second squad will report at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
