The practice of the University baseball squad yesterday was in every way the fastest held this year. Much time was devoted to various combinations in base-running, which were all very creditably executed. The men all batted against Rankin of the Arlington Boat Club, and were, on the whole, successful. Fielding work, too, was lively, and was entirely without the hesitation which characterized the Princeton game.

Tomorrow the team will play Holy Cross at Cambridge, and on Friday a return game with Georgetown at Cambridge.
