The total subscriptions for Emerson Hall now amount to $151,271.00, of which the last $5,000 was received chiefly in small amounts. The building, as previously announced, is now assured, but it has not yet been decided when work will begin. A considerable sum is still needed in order that the Hall may fulfill all the needs of the Department of Philosophy. All persons who have already subscribed, or who wish to do so, should send their subscriptions to the Treasurer of the College or to any member of the special committee.
