The Freshman eleven defeated the Dorchester High School team on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon, by a score of 12 to 0. The Freshman team was made up largely of substitutes.
In the first half Dorchester carried the hall to the Freshmen's 4-yard line, where it was lost on a fumble. The Freshmen were unable to make any substantial gains. In the second half the Freshmen put in some regular players, and after a 60-yard run by Lincoln, Somes was pushed over Dorchester's line for a touchdown. Pope kicked the goal. Later in the half, Pope made a 60-yard run after catching a punt on the Freshmen's 30-yard line. By line plays the Freshmen soon scored a second touchdown. Pope again kicked the goal.
