Concert of Harvard Musical Club

The first annual concert of the Harvard Musical Club will be held on Monday evening, December 19, at 8 o'clock in the Fogg Lecture Room.

The club was founded in 1898, and is the only organization of its kind among the larger universities. A considerable number of distinguished musicians are honorary members and the society has a large membership in the University. Its object is the promotion of musical knowledge and appreciation, by the production of original compositions of the students, by the performance of high standard works, and by the discussion of musical subjects.

The officers are: president, Professor J. K. Paine; secretary, A. W. Locke '05; executive committee, Professor W. R. Spalding, J. DeQ, Briggs '06, and D. G. Field '07.

Tickets for the concert will be on sale tomorrow at Sever's or may be procured from the secretary, A. W. Locke, 7 Francis avenue.
