HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The University hockey team yesterday won its second game of the intercollegiate series by defeating Brown on the Holmes Field rink by the score of 7 to 0. Brown was outclassed and throughout the game was unable successfully to pass the Harvard defense and, except for the last few minutes of play, hardly threatened the Harvard goal. The University team played a fast, concerted game and quickly broke up the Brown offense. The shooting of the University forwards was hard and accurate. Score--Harvard, 7;--Brown, 0. Goals--Newhall, Souther, Kernan, Townsend, Wilder 3. Referee--H. Stoddard, Yale. Time--20-minute halves.
