The Freshman nine defeated St. Mark's at Southboro on Saturday by a score of 9 to 7. The Freshman team showed encouraging improvement. The fielding was accurate, the base running fast, and the batting, at critical moments, timely, Greene allowed only seven hits and struck out five men, but gave seven bases on balls, three of which resulted in runs.
