The University basketball team defeated Andover in an interesting game in the Hemenway Gymnasium Saturday afternoon by the score of 27 to 19.
After scoring several times in the first few minutes of play, the University players became a little overconfident and neglected to cover their men properly. The Andover forwards were unable to throw comparatively easy goals, however, and at the end of the half the score stood 15 to 12 in favor of Harvard.
In the second half the Andover team weakened, the forwards obtaining few easy tries for goals. The University team showed a strong defense, and the forwards played together much better than in the first half. Henderson was very accurate in throwing goals from free tries.

Time--20-minute halves. -- The game with Boston University scheduled for next Thursday will be played in the evening, and not in the afternoon, as previously announced.
