The Freshman basketball team defeated the Dedham High School team at Memorial Hall, Dedham, Saturday evening by a score of 34 to 14. Considering the fact that the floor was very slippery and prevented effective team work, the Freshmen played well. The individual playing was noticeably good and there was less tendency to foul than at any previous time this season. Although the Freshmen made several excellent shots for baskets during the game, the forwards missed a number of easy chances to score.

The summary: FRESHMEN.  DEDHAM HIGH SCHOOL. Barber, l.f.  r.f., Keenan Sessa, r.f.  l.f., Staples Amberg, Utley, c.  c., Ward, Hurley Brown, l.g.  r.g., Rogers Almy, Mossman, r.g.  l.g., O'Connell
