U. of P. Won Tennis Doubles

E. B. Dewhurst and H. B. Register of the University of Pennsylvania won the intercollegiate doubles tennis championship yesterday on the grounds of the Merion Cricket Club, Haverford, Pa., by defeating R. E. Wells and S. Field of Yale 6-0, 6-2, 8-6. In the first two sets the net play and general team work of Dewhurst and Register were invincible. In the third set the Yale pair braced, but were unable to overcome the lead of their opponents.
