Proposed Change in Social Service

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Social Service Committee has signified its desire to become a dependent committee under the Phillips Brooks House Association. As a result, the executive cabinet of the Phillips Brooks House Association has proposed several amendments to its constitution, which will make this change possible and which provides that the chairman of the Social Service Committee shall be appointed by the president with the approval of the graduate secretary. This chairman shall have the power to invite graduates to serve on the Committee and to appoint the undergraduate members after consultation with the president and graduate secretary. It is also provided that the chairman shall be a vice-president of the Association and a member of its executive cabinet.

The proposed changes will be voted upon by the Association next Thursday evening at 7 o'clock in the Shepard Room, Phillips Brooks House.
