ANNUAL FIELD DAY SPORTS

In Stadium at 4 o'clock This Afternoon Entries May be Made Field.

The annual University field-day sports, which were postponed from last Tuesday, will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Stadium. In addition to the regular 13 track and field events, a pig-back race, a 75-yard race for football players, and a 65-yard dodging race will be held on the turf. Prizes will be awarded to the men finishing first and second in each event; but no man, after winning a prize, will be permitted to compete in subsequent events. All competitors must be eligible for the University track team either this year or next; but no one will be allowed to enter who took part in the dual meet with Yale last Saturday or won a prize in the interclass or handicap games.

Men will be permitted to enter the various events on the field; but, as no announcements will be made in the Locker Building, every one should be ready to compete 15 minutes before the times scheduled for the events, which are as follows:

Track events--4, 120-yard hurdles trials; 4.10, 100-yard dash trials; 4.20, 440-yard run; 4.30, 75-yard race for football players; 4.40, 120-yard hurdles finals; 4.45, 100-yard dash finals; 4.50, mile run; 5, 65-yard dodging race; 5.10, 880-yard run; 5.20, 220-yard dash trials; 5.30, 22-yard hurdles trials; 5.40, two-mile run; 5.55, 220-yard dash finals; 6, 220-yard hurdles finals; 6.10, pig-back race.

Field events--4, high jump 4, broad jump; 5, 16-pound shot put; 5, pole vault; 5.30, 16-pound hammer throw.

The officials are requested to report at the Locker Building at 3.45 o'clock this afternoon.
