Library Acquires More Rare Coins

The University Library has lately received from the estate of D. H. Storer M.D. '25, through Miss H. M. Storer, a collection of 245 copper coins. Among the rarities in this collection are a fine specimen of Swedish plate money and a "Granby copper." The Granby coppers were struck by an ingenious blacksmith in Granby, Conn., in 1737, and, being made of unalloyed copper, quickly became worn, and are therefore now of the greatest rarity.
