Yesterday afternoon Severance did not go out with the University crew and Faulkner rowed at 3 in his place. Severance, however, will be back in the boat within a day or two. The University and second crews rowed downstream into the basin, but, owing to the rain, the men were only able to practice starts and row in short stretches.
