The prospects for the University basketball team this winter are very encouraging. Of last year's team, Captain E. S. Allen '09, E. S. Currie '09, P. Brooks '09, S. H. Brown '10, G. G. Browne '10 and W. E. Scribner '10 are back. All are experienced men, who should make a good nucleus for this year's team. Of last year's Freshman team, Miller and Webber are the most promising candidates.
The schedule this year contains only eight games. Unless otherwise stated, the games will be played in Cambridge: January 12--M. I. T.; January 16--Princeton at Princeton; January 23--Brown; January 29--Tufts; February 6--Brown at Providence; February 12--Yale; February 20--Dartmouth; February 26--Yale at New Haven.
