A HARVARD PLAYWRIGHT.

One of the most powerful plays which has appeared in New York this winter was written by a Harvard man of the Class of 1908. The CRIMSON has chosen two criticisms from the daily press to reprint in this morning's issue which fairly represent the critics' idea of the worth of "Salvation Nell." The play was written while the author was still in college and in connection with work in one of the courses in the English department. The criticisms of the play have naturally been concerned in considerable measure with the author himself, this being his first production, and they have been extremely favorable. Mr. Sheldon has made an auspicious start. He should prove a valuable addition to the all too limited group of real American dramatists.
