The Freshman baseball team was defeated by the Cambridge Latin School yesterday afternoon in a disappointing game by the score of 3 to 1. The batting and fielding of the Freshman team was exceedingly poor, and several chances to score were lost. Minot pitched a fairly good game. In the ninth inning the first man up was Twitchell, who hit a two-base hit. J. Sweetser flied out to left field. Rogers broke his bat, but was safe at first base by fielder's choice, while Twitchell was caught between second and third. Taylor, the last man up, hit a grounder, but was out at first.
