The Freshman football squad had a hard scrimmage yesterday afternoon, which lasted about half an hour. The ball was given to the first team in the centre of the field. After two unsuccessful rushes, Lenox recovered Lewis's punt on the 20-yard line and a series of rushes by Graustein, Proctor, and Lewis quickly carried the ball over for a touchdown, Proctor making the score.
The first team was then given the ball on the 15-yard line. Lewis punted at once, and Warren, by good dodging, ran the ball back to the 25-yard line. Almost immediately a well-executed forward pass from Bradley to Holbrook scored for the second team.
The first team was again given the ball on the 15-yard line and fifteen minutes of scrimmage followed. The second team was gradually driven back to the centre of the field, the first team having the ball on the second's 25-yard line when time was called.
